Beetroot Jowar Roti Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup jowar flour
  • 1/2 cup grated beetroot (steamed)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Heat a tawa (griddle) on medium flame.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine jowar flour, grated beetroot, and salt.
  3. Gradually add water as needed to make a soft dough.
  4. Divide the dough into equal portions and shape them into balls.
  5. Roll out each ball into a roti using a rolling pin and some dry flour for dusting.
  6. Place the rolled roti onto the heated tawa.
  7. Cook until bubbles start to appear on the surface, then flip the roti and cook the other side.
  8. Once both sides are cooked and browned, remove from the tawa.
  9. Serve hot with your favorite side dish or chutney.
